We have lived at Barclay Place for the last 16 years. We have found our apartment to be a comfortable and quiet place to live. Our neighbors are friendly and staff are like an extended family, ready to help if questions or concerns arise.

I thoroughly enjoy living at Barclay Place. It's in a prime location in Charlottesville - away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads leading to the University of Virginia, but close to shopping and even within walking distance of IMAX movie theaters! The management and staff are top notch and responsive, and the maintenance supervisor is incredibly fast with same day repairs if needed. The pool, grounds, and fitness room are well kept. The fact that cable, internet, and heat are included makes it a great place to live in Central Virginia.

We have been so happy ever since we moved to Barclay Place over two years ago. It is a nice community, and we have really felt in good hands with Tammy as our manager--whenever there has been a problem, she has gotten on top of it very quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone else. Pets being allowed is also a plus!

My first year at Barclay Place has been a very nice experience! After living in the country for twenty years, I wasn't sure I'd like apartment living, but this neighborhood is quiet, the neighbors are friendly, and it's great having a maintenance free pool and gym right out my door! My apartment is comfortable and cozy and so convenient to my work and shopping. Tammy and staff are so helpful and maintenance issues are addressed quickly. I had no hesitation renewing for another year!

We moved to Barclay Place 22 years ago and were the first residents to move into our building. We have always felt at home at Barclay. Tammy, our manager, does a wonderful job of addressing noise complaints and other problems promptly and effectively. Maintenance is first class - repairs are usually completed within 24 hours after a work order has been called in. The grounds are well landscaped and kept in immaculate condition. This is a well lighted, safe, and quiet community; a really pleasant place in which to live. How many places include cable and Internet access in the rent?

My husband and I have lived at Barclay for over three years. The staff is exceptional in their willingness to do their job and make sure the tenants are well taken care of. Maintenance crew is great and makes sure any repairs that are needed are done as timely as possible. Grounds are well taken care of as is the pool area and exercise room. I don't know all the staff's names, but Tammy and Mo are who we see mostly and they are wonderful.

I was asked by Tammy Ray to write a testimonial for the Barclay Place web site because I have lived here for fourteen plus years. I am happy to do so, because this has been my home for so long and since I have stayed, there must be some good reasons. I have enjoyed living at Barclay Place because it is a community taken care of by a friendly staff where there are no headaches and no hassles. There is location, location, location. It is close to everything in Charlottesville. Through the years I have enjoyed the pool, the workout room in the clubhouse, the outdoor grills, the Internet, and the TV cable service. Any maintenance issues are quickly take care of immediately, while they are small, to keep things working in the apartment like when it was new. I have recommended Barclay Place to friends and cannot imagine a better place for me to live in Charlottesville.
